According to Ron Wyden, Oregon State Senator, he may have the key solution to curb the health care crisis in the United States. Senator Wyden has proposed an amendment to a Bill which had already been proposed in order to use online casino gambling revenue for health care reform.
Senator Ron Wyden is thinking about the way to soften the health care debate in Congress and he end up proposing his amendment to Franks Bill. A study carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers revealed that more than 60 billion dollars can be generated when regulating Internet gambling, and this money could finance medical health care.
At the beginning of the year, Deputy Barney Frank proposed the Internet Regulation, Consumer Protection Act. If that Bill is passed by lawmakers it would put into place a regulated Internet gambling system in the US. The Bill would also cancel the 2006 illegal Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.
We approve Senator Wydens proposal to gather and put to good use tens of billions in Internet gambling revenue that could have been lost in the black market. Spokesman for the Safe and Secure Internet Gambling Initiative Michael Waxman noted.
Deputy Frank has been telling his counterparts for years now that a more regulated Internet gambling industry would bring the US millions of dollars in revenue. Mr. Barney Frank also thought about the US citizens when he advocated an Internet gambling legislation in order to protect online gamblers from suspicious gaming operations.
